My child wants to watch when I go to the bathroom. Is that weird?

Being curious is part of the process and actually helps

To us as adults, this might seem strange, because for us, the bathroom is a very private space.  But here’s the good news: your child wants to know what happens back there, behind that toilet. That’s the first step! If you’re okay with it, it can actually be a huge help with potty training. So always take your child with you when you go to the bathroom yourself. Show them how (and maybe even what :) you flush and what toilet paper is for. And that you’re not wearing a diaper, but underwear. Kids often really enjoy pressing the flush button. This way, they learn in a playful way what the toilet is for.
