Spending more time and attention on potty training can certainly help your child. But it’s no guarantee. Is three weeks enough? That depends entirely on what stage of potty training your child is in. How quickly a child becomes potty-trained really varies from child to child. Is your child in the practice phase where the diaper is off for half the day or the whole day (step 3 or 4)? Then it can go quickly. But each step usually takes a few weeks. It can also take a little longer if changes are coming up. Starting school is exciting for many children. Sometimes they don’t quite understand what it means, and everyone keeps talking about it! Because of this, potty training can actually be more difficult right before school starts. It can also take longer if holidays, moves, or other changes are coming up. Keep this in mind and don’t put too much pressure on those 3 weeks.
