A sticker chart is a chart on which moments of success become visible with symbols or pictures. The card helps see back what succeeded when, without stickers being the main focus.
Example: After a successful potty moment, a child sticks one sticker on the chart. At the end of the week, you can see at a glance how things went. At Ready for Potty , we are cautious about using rewards such as stickers, but place more emphasis on social encouragement, such as clapping. When rewarding, make sure you also reward progress in the process: “You told us yourself that you needed to go to the toilet—good job!” This is how you help a child learn.
