A sticker chart is a chart on which moments of success become visible with symbols or pictures. The card helps see back what succeeded when, without stickers being the main focus.

Example: after a successful potty moment, a child sticks one symbol on the card. At the end of the week, you can see at a glance how it went. In Ready for Potty potty training, we are reluctant to use rewards in the form of stickers or rewards, but place more emphasis on social encouragement, such as clapping hands. With rewards, be careful to also reward progress in the process: "you indicated yourself that you needed to go to the toilet, how good!" This is how you help a child learn.
