Take a look at your schedule for the week and pick a few times when you can practice in peace.
For example, this could be:
- a morning or afternoon when you're at home
- on the weekend
- a moment when you're not in a hurry
- on weekdays after dinner
An hour is enough
- During this practice session, let your child play and walk around without a diaper. We ’ll tell you more about it in the guide “Practicing Without a Diaper.”
- An hour is enough, a few times a week. So it doesn't take much time.
- Don't overcomplicate things. Want to switch days for a change? Go ahead. Just make sure to do it on days when you have the time and energy to focus on it.
- Stay nearby and watch for signs that your child needs to pee or poop. That way, you’ll have more opportunities to practice together.
- You don't have to practice all day long. Short, quiet moments often work best.
